What is Eagle Claw Kung Fu?
The main system or method of Kung Fu that we teach is Northern Eagle Claw (Ying Jow Pai). This is one of the oldest and most comprehensive methods of Kung Fu in the world. The Eagle Claw Kung Fu (Faan Tzi Ying Jow Pai) is an intricate system of locks, takedowns, and pressure point strikes, as well as punches, blocks and an arsenal of kicks.

General Ngok Fei, a famous Chinese general during the invasion by the Manchus, leaned the Eagle Claw Kung Fu method from a Shaolin monk named Jow Tong. He adapted and taught these techniques to his troops for hand-to-hand combat that helped his army achieve many battlefield victories. Because of his success, General Ngok Fei became one of the well-known generals throughout China.

Many martial arts schools come and go or many are part-time clubs that are only open a few days a week. Many instructors do this as a hobby or are not qualified to teach a martial art. Contrary to what most people believe, a black belt does not make you an instructor or teacher.

Here at the Academy, you have the assurance that we have a long history of success and have trained thousands of students over the years. We are a full-time professional Academy. Along with Master Rothrock, he has full-time professional instructors and staff dedicated to your overall goals and success.
